Five or more years of experience including, electrical, plumbing, and framing from the ground up. Logical, engineer minded individual that can understand and communicate the technical processes including the NMMA/ABYC standards. Provide leadership to staff in training and developing to their full potential. Communicate directly with other managers the status of repair work-in-progress. Perform building maintenance tasks, including interior and exterior building and ground maintenance involving electrical, mechanical, heating, plumbing, and carpentry work as necessary. Must have previous experience in employee relations, including being an active listener and demonstrate positive motivational skills including coaching and delegation techniques. Must have excellent attention to detail to ensure that quality control and safety measures are maintained. A working knowledge of plumbing, electrical and general facility upkeep is required. Job duties include but are not limited to: All stages of fiberglass to include sub assembly, assembly, final finish, patch and polish, along with Quality control. Is responsible or overall process of the production. The operations manager manages several supervisors working under the plant manager's supervision. The operational manager's key challenge is to maintain production within specific guidelines for production efficiency, labor cost, product rework, waste amounts, and control of on-hold product. Skills and Specifications: High-level leadership and decision-making skills. Able to interact with all professionals of Plant Management. Should be able to look at the problem and know what parts are likely to be needed. Experience in rigging mechanical, electrical, and electronic marine systems. Direct and coordinate in a production department, review orders, plan production operations, prepare schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities, train and assist workers in performance of tasks. Establishes inventory levels, raw materials, and component parts ensuring smooth operational consistency to and from Production and Sales. Strong knowledge and experience with a mid-level ERP system in a manufacturing environment is a strong plus. Inspect product from start to finish making sure that product meets all requirements and standards. Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Minimum of 5 years Inside or Outside Marine Sales and or relevant sales experience. Excellent communication skills: Ability to persuade and influence others. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel. Responsibilities: Create the social media strategy, coordinating with Marketing Manager to ensure its effectiveness and ensure the adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company’s products and services.
