Now the media dynamo can add designer to her list of credentials, as Poppy was hugely instrumental in the design process of her range, from the first drawing to the very last stitch. Thai born and Cape Town based Chu is the first South African designer collection offers three distinct and vibrant shoe designs. The 2311 slip-on featuring an African wax origami print that is a nod to Chu’s Thai heritage and signature motif. The three shoe designs have a unique artistic, ethnic quality that will be a definite collector’s item for sneakerheads and fashion-lovers alike. Nashville native Binx is riding high in the fashion charts with an army of social media fans following her every move. Binx is a model not only with one of the most impressive lists of pre vious high profile campaigns, covers and editorials, but also a unique and aspirational style. So Superga was particularly proud to announce that she would be the face of its next collections. The model of the moment follows in the footsteps of Alexa Chung and Rita Ora in her role as Superga spokesmodel. For this new campaign, Suki Waterhouse sets aside red carpet glamour to pose in more everyday outfits more suited to Superga’s signature sneakers. The supermodel was photographed on a retro scooter, in a green room having her hair done, and in a vintage chaise lounge, relaxing poolside. One of the faces of Burberry, the British blonde also recently posed for H&M and Sass & Bide. British supermodel Suki Waterhouse is the face of Superga’s Summer 2014 campaign.
