The main aim of this project was to educate young people around proper road usage as pedestrians. Yet, we realise the great need for education around road safety. Active Education has significant experience in coaching and developing children in sport that spans a couple of decades making them the ultimate partner for this initiative. This is a direct response to dealing with South Africa’s poor road safety performance, hence, this is a direct, tangible means for Regent to be closely involved with a programme that has great relevance to its business. Regent’s strong support of this initiative is indicative of our undertaking to serve all communities through developing the children who are the community leaders of tomorrow. Both advantaged and previously disadvantaged schools are targeted. Regent will introduce learners to road safety through a thrilling road safety roadshow.
