Giants Imps Baseball Club is based at the Edenvale Sports Club, 17th Avenue, Edenvale. The Sen. We are the largest Baseball club in the Gauteng region.

We are the largest Baseball club in the Gauteng region. Our fees are quite reasonable, there are no additional game fees. Remember all game fees are included in the Registration fees. Our history starts more than a hundred years ago, with the formation of The CROWN MINES GIANTS in the early 1900’s. In order to further develop and grow the game of baseball, a junior club was created and so Imps Junior Baseball began. It was then that Imps moved to Rhodes Park in Kensington where it remained for 26 years. Pat Mckinon then took over as the Imps Chairman, a position he held for 10 years. In over 50 years of junior baseball the club has produced numerous provincial and National players. 1 e. Affiliate, if by resolution of the committee, with any such body that has interests conducive to the interests of the Club. Invest and deal with money’s of the Club not immediately required. 1 l. Do all such thing that are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the purposes and exercise of the powers of the Club. Words or expressions contained in the Rules shall be interpreted in accordance with normal practice. Once again, we are looking for Parents who are interested in scoring, umpiring and coaching. If anyone is willing to help, please talk to a member of the Committee. Our 15 Under SA team competed in the World Cup in Mexico. I’m sure those of you who were able to watch or follow the games were as proud of the boys as we were. We ask all members to show their support of these businesses to help them help us. Following a very generous sponsorship some time back from Dave Baigent and the recent efforts of Dave Panzenberger and his team of helpers, the batting cage is finally a reality. We are very proud of this facility which will add a new dimension to our coaching and improve player skills. While some work still needs to be done on the batting machine house, the cage is fully functional and has already seen many a young star swing their bat inside it.
