Although many parts of South Africa has been blessed with abundant rainfall the last couple of weeks, we were in a dire situation. It’s so bad that farmers all over SA are giving up. The drought is forcing us to import maize from other countries. This is not just a crisis for certain parts of South Africa. The whole of South Africa has been impacted with the drought.
