Activ Fleet Management was established in 2003, and was initially active in the supply and management of GPS based passive data logging devices.
These devices were cost effective units allowing users to place the units in a vehicle and simply collect trip data in memory, which was then downloaded via serial port into a computer system running our proprietary software.
In 2005, we started experimenting with the newly launched GPRS service launched by the major cellular networks and developed an effective hardware and software combination that is able to provide our customers with a cost effetive, reliable and easy to use system that can easily be adapted to most customer requirements.
