SproutAbility is Official Importer of RECARO Child Safety Car Seats and Prams; Storchenmuhle High Chairs and ZoLi Feeding and Baby Care accessories. RECARO treats their child seats, and the seats are tested according to the stringent requirements of the Automotive Industry, like their adult seats, and are ECE 44/04 rated. RECARO manufactures car seats for newborn babies up to 36kg, which is about 12 years of age. RECARO's focus is on safety and comfort of your little ones. RECARO child and infant car seats are manufactured and designed in Germany.

The UNECE stands for the The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, and they have set out to create a uniform set of regulations for the Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations, and this inturn facilitates International Trade. One of the Regulations they cover, is the approval of Child Safety Seats (both forward and rearward facing seats) for the use in vehicles. All RECARO child car seats are tested and approved to the ECE child safety standards. ISOFIX compatable car seats and bases have latches to lock into these points. This was a very important development for child car safety, as all cars are different, and the chances of not positioning your car seat correctly and securely are great, when using a 3 point seatbelt. Collapsible for transport, but very solid firm sides when it is use. The carry cot comes with a mosquito net, and the back of the canopy can be zipped open but still has a mosquito net in place, which allows air to vent through during our warm summers. The carry cot comes with adaptors for the TFK Dot frame, which can be stored in the front pocket of the carry cot, this pocket can also be used for storage of essential items when travelling. The carry cot is also light, so it is easy to carry.
